Cookies are small text files placed on your device to help the website function properly, analyze how you use the site, and provide a better user experience.
We use cookies for several reasons, ranging from making our contact forms work to understanding our website traffic through Google Analytics. The cookies we use fall into three main categories:
| Category | Description |
| Necessary | Essential for the website to function (e.g., security, form submission). |
| Analytics | Help us understand how many people visit and which pages are popular. |
| Marketing/Media | Set by third parties like YouTube to track video views and player preferences. |
Our website is built using Elementor. While Elementor itself often uses “Local Storage” rather than traditional HTTP cookies, it is legally treated the same way.
Purpose: To remember your preferences and ensure the contact forms work correctly.
Duration: Typically session-based (deleted when you close your browser).
We use GA4 to track website performance and user behavior anonymously.
Cookies: _ga, _ga_<container-id>
Purpose: To distinguish unique users and track sessions.
Data Collected: IP addresses (anonymized), device type, and pages visited.
Duration: 2 years (standard).
When we embed YouTube videos, Google may set cookies on your device once you click “play.”
Cookies: VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC, GPS
Purpose: To track video views, estimate bandwidth, and store user preferences.
Duration: Ranges from session-length to 6 months.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to choose which cookies you accept.
Cookie Banner: When you first visit, you can “Accept” or “Decline” non-essential cookies (Analytics and Marketing).
Browser Settings: You can also block or delete cookies through your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.). Please note that disabling necessary cookies may cause the Elementor forms to stop working.
