Meet Andrew Raeburn
I’m Andrew Raeburn, a Personal Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Coach, and Pilates Instructor based in Edinburgh. I work with people of all ages and abilities, supporting them to move better, feel stronger, and build long-term health in a way that fits their lifestyle.
I offer personal training, strength and conditioning, Pilates, mobility, and wellbeing coaching, delivered through 1:1 sessions, small groups, classes, and online coaching. My approach is inclusive, personalised, and grounded in evidence-based movement, with a strong focus on technique, confidence, and sustainable progress.
I’ve coached and taught across gyms, studios, hotels, community settings, and online platforms. My experience includes working with Pilates Scotland, Tribe Yoga, Parkinson’s UK, and the Kimpton Hotel, and I currently serve as Head of Performance for the Scottish Powerchair Football Team.
Fitness should fit your life, support your lifestyle, and help you feel your best – physically and mentally no matter what your background.
Alongside weekly coaching, I host wellness retreats in Scotland and abroad, bringing together movement, strength training, Pilates, yoga, mindset coaching, rest, and nourishing food in inspiring locations.
These retreats are designed to help people reset, reconnect, and build healthier habits away from everyday distractions — all within a supportive, inclusive environment suitable for all levels. I work with clients in person across Edinburgh and online, making coaching and retreats accessible wherever you are.

“I have attended many different Pilates over the years and have found Andrew’s to be the best. Andrew’s classes have helped my posture, reduced back pain and made me stronger. Thank you Andrew!!!!”
“Really fantastic experience. Learning yoga, Pilates, surfing lessons and taking a breather from life. Couldn’t be a better location. Nailed that – Sagres has the perfect vibe for getting away. Nothing stressful about the place, friendly accommodating people. Highly recommend this!”
This trip was a ton of fun and I would recommend it to ANYONE. At 61, I was a little nervous about taking my first-ever surfing lesson. Turned out it was one of the best things I ever did. Five days of Pilates, yoga, good conversation and stunning views. I Loved all the activities we managed to do each day and came home feeling stronger! Two thumbs up! Sign me up for next time, please!
“Lucked out when I contacted Andrew about PT sessions. He is 100% in your corner focusing on your individual health goals despite life’s curveballs. Andrew has an innate ability to challenge in a supportive way to help you consistently improve strength and overall wellbeing. Working with him has helped reignite the ‘buzz’ from exercise from years ago and I always seem to leave his sessions with a smile”
Andrew has been my PT trainer for almost two years, and in that time he’s helped me become significantly stronger and fitter overall. He motivates me, challenges me in the right ways, and always listens to what I need. Every session is thoughtfully structured around my goals, and he adapts effortlessly when things change. His professionalism and passion shine through, and he brings great energy even on days when I arrive exhausted. Training with him has made a real difference to my confidence and wellbeing, and I always look forward to our sessions because I know I’ll leave feeling better about myself.
“For a first timer’s solo trip abroad, I could not have asked for a more perfect experience. I felt so welcomed and at ease from start to finish. The food, accommodation, itinerary was brilliant and exactly what you would hope for. What really made the trip was the energy that Andrew and Chaz bring. They are so welcoming and friendly allowing you to totally relax into the itinerary set for the retreat. I came away from the retreat feeling fully refreshed and rejuvenated and with lots of food for thought to take with me. 100% recommend to anyone looking to have a great trip with like minded people, reconnect with themselves and allow themselves the time to be involved in activities and experiences that feel nourishing for the soul”
